"If you are looking for delicious mexican food this here is it! I am from out of town and it is so hard to search and find delicious food. Let me tell you this here has made it my top favorite restaurant from hazlehurst! For reference I had the mixed fajitas and I was with 4 more others not sure what they got, but what I do know is that all our plates were emptied!"

"I had lunch at El Ranchero today for the first time because I was craving Mexican and they had good reviews online. They are located a couple miles east of hazlehurst like you're heading towards baxley. They are a little off the road and difficult to see unless you are specifically looking for them. I am sure this is affecting business some because while I was there there was no other people there. I ordered a couple tacos and a couple quesadillas and my food was good and the size versus the price in the menu were good as well. The water is also fine and the chips and salsa are good too. My main complaint would be that they charge a hefty credit card fee. Most businesses charge about a 3 and 1/2%, but this was more than 10%. That is not acceptable to me nor do I remember ever being charged a credit card processing fee at any Mexican restaurants in South Georgia until today. Overall the facility is large but plain and they can definitely hold quite a few people. They also have bottled beverages for anything that would like that. Lady that was the server was nice and attended to me regularly. Overall it was a good visit, but not great. They really need to do away with the extravagant credit card fee."
